With your tax-deductible gift we’ll have the funds necessary to import from the UK a sailing simulator like the one shown below. Bay Sea Scouts have been offered the opportunity to purchase a simulator the trained Olympic sailors at a 50% savings, our cost, $12,000. This is such a great savings and we must act promptly to ensure a successful purchase.
Teaching the next generation of sailors
The VSail trainer is a full size ride on interactive simulator of a single handed dinghy. Sailing locations, courses,wind strength, gusts and conditions are user selected to suit the ability of the sailors. This is a unique training tool to teach sailing to all ages.
Bay Sea Scouts, Inc is the charter organization for B.S.A. Sea Scout Ship 41 & Explorer Clubs 360 and 180.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit registered with the I.R.S. and run by volunteers. In 2020 $300.00 charitable giving is deductible if you take the standard deduction (per article in the Wall Street Journal).
